That gap is why we built the Elevanted Education Fund, in partnership with Hamari Laado — "our girl child" — an NGO working at the grassroots in India to keep one particularly disadvantaged group, rural girls, in school and give them a real shot at an education.

In the back of our minds, we as women founders have always been acutely aware of how fortunate we are — to have been born in circumstances and families that not only backed our education, but actively encouraged us to aim higher.
As a company operating in this realm of education, it felt incomplete to overlook girls who may not have the opportunities and tools that we have had. This partnership felt natural.
